The Five Great Sects represent the five main regions of the StarFall continent. They will be the centralized aspect of SageVerse™ metaverse and will take on such roles as:
Safe zones and transportation hubs to and from other regions and stages
Communication and commerce hubs
Prime real estate for metaverse real estate
Sect missions, quests, world events, and raid updates
Each sect will have metaverse land available
The number one sect of the StarFall continent and the unspoken leader of the "Five Great Sects" is The Nine Divine Extremes Sect. As its name states, it studies five elements and has a 360,000-year history. Accordingly, it is by far the oldest of the Five Great Sects and the one with most varied legacies.
When the Qi flow erupted, The Nine Divine Extremes Sect acted first and deployed the "Nine Divine Extremes Pavilions" to begin taking in and training the world's geniuses in preparation for what could determine the very future of the StarFall continent.
The Divine Dragon Palace focuses on cultivating the divine abilities and invincible bodies of the Dragon Race. Explosive Force and Overwhelming Strength is the motto of the Supreme Dragon Mountain. They specialize in the five elements and body cultivation, and reside in the "Great Desolate Oasis."
The Divine Phoenix Abode is a much more relaxed sect than the "Divine Dragon Mountain," but equally as powerful. While they don't have powerful physical body cultivators like the Divine Dragon Palace, they specialize in the five elements and the divine abilities of the phoenix, and utilize illusions as well as support and control techniques.
"In the cultivation world, techniques are techniques. It is people who are good or evil." - 1st Ancestor of the Illusory Demon Grotto.
The Illusory Demon Grotto has a "misunderstood" public persona for lack of a better word. They are a sect to some, and a cult to others, but terrifying to everyone. They cultivate the blood arts and other dark illusory arts and specialize in assassination techniques, traps, and poison arts. At one time, there was continent-wide persecution of Illusory Demon Grotto cultivators; however, before their entire inheritance was severed, The 1st Ancestor of the Nine Divine Extremes intervened and declared the Illusory Demon Grotto as one of the "Five Great Sects," ultimately shocking the entire continent and alluding to some sort of hidden relationship between the two sects.
Broken Sword Valley is the holy land of sword cultivators and is the last of the "Five Great Sects." Broken Sword Valley's sword cultivators are know for their devastating offensive prowess and lackluster defensive capabilities. As sword cultivators, they take on the characteristics of the sword, reserved and understated when sheathed, enigmatic and awe-inspiring when loose. Broken Sword Valley and Coiling Dragon Mountain cultivators tend to get along, as they share similar temperaments and complementary skill sets.
The Nine Divine Extremes Pavilion is the first point of contact between the "Five Great Sects" and the StarFall continent's young geniuses. The Nine Divine Extremes Sect deployed Branch Pavilions all over the StarFall continent. We start our journey in the Shui Empire on the border of the Eastern Wilderness, a land of abundant resources and equally abundant danger in the form of spirit beasts and exotic flora. It is the perfect training ground to test the aptitude of the future pillars of StarFall continent.
